Lancaster Library - A smart starting place for a successful business


The Library System of Lancaster County offers a wide variety of informative and powerful business information resources for existing businesses, start-up businesses, and individuals wishing to start a business.

SCORE Lancaster is pleased to partner with the
Library System of Lancaster County. 




The Duke Street Business Center is dedicated to the sourcing, study and gathering of business information.  Specialized assistance is available.  All services are free.   You can even have free use of computers and Palo Alto's Business Plan Pro, one of America’s most widely used business plan interactive software programs.  Click here for hours and helpful information:

You will need a current library card from any Lancaster County public library. 

If you are a county resident and need a card, go to www.lancasterlibraries.org    Use the "How do I?" menu in the upper-right of the page and select  "Get a Library Card." Print out the application, fill it out and take it to your nearest library.  They will issue a card with your proof of address.

To search the Library System’s online catalog, go to www.lancasterlibraries.org.  On the home page, click on the  “Search the Catalog” icon in the upper right.  You may place holds on circulating titles and have them delivered to  the library of your choice.
