SCORE Lancaster has joined with the city of Lancaster, PA as a small business Micro-loan partner.

SCORE Lancaster and the city of Lancaster have teamed-up to help small businesses in the city.  Lancaster has a fund of $250,000 available for micro-loans for qualifying businesses within the city limits.

Micro-loan amounts range from a minimum of $1,000 to a maximum of $10,000. These are aimed at helping to improve qualifying city businesses. The loans are offered at very low interest rates with attractive terms.  They are available on a first come, first-served basis to qualified applicants.

SCORE – through workshops, free counseling and a review process – will help prepare and qualify entrepreneurs to seek these micro-loans.  

With a SCORE recommendation, city administrators can be confident that the applicant is prepared.
