Expertise in strategic analysis, market plans, financial forecasting, tax issues, grant writing. Clients counseled include consultants, graphic artists, landscapers, retailers, entertainment/banquet venues and website developers
Carol Aubitz Experienced in all media, direct mail, web site development, Internet marketing, creative development and strategic planning. Clients served include retail, service industries, manufacturing, hospitality, destinations, publishing, direct mail, catalogs, education, and non-profits.
John Bergey Balanced business experience in new product development, research, technology assessment, patents, licensing, strategic planning and business development. Former President and CEO of an advanced electronic watch company.
Steven Borkgren Experienced in manufacturing and supply chain operations including strategic planning, budgeting, and financial analysis. Expertise in procurement functions including strategy development, vendor selection and management, risk analysis and supply contracts. Counseling experience in developing and analyzing start up business plans.
Lloyd Bull - Secretary Engineer with experience in product design and development, application analysis, design of tooling, gauging, machinery, programming of NC equipment, plant layout, and project management.
Thomas Burgum - Vice President - Marketing Extensive sales and marketing management experience with retailers, contractors and distributors in the building materials, furniture and carpet industries. Global expertise creating and implementing sales effectiveness processes, including selling and buying, competency models, recruiting, training, coaching and metrics. Skilled at leadership training and development.
Daniel Charley - Professional experience in quality management, process engineering, operations and marketing related to manufacturing. Former business owner with extensive experience in business development (business plans), knowledge of cost reduction measures, debt restructuring, cash flow management and budgeting.
Denise Conklin Extensive background in the leadership and financial management of not-for-profit organizations. Experienced in the development of staffing plans and volunteer recruitment programs. Designer of innovative fundraising strategies to diversify income streams. Experienced grant writer.
Louis Davenport Extensive business and financial planning experience with both start- up and established businesses, with expertise in credit management, marketing, financial analysis, business financing, financial risk management and TQM (total quality management). Special focus on financial turnaround challenges. Clients include contractors, wholesalers, manufacturers, retailers and service firms in various industries. Formerly a senior financial executive. Paul DeFranco Professional experience in procurement of components for major agricultural and construction equipment manufacture dealing with suppliers of all sizes. Clients include wide range of businesses, products and services. Skilled in identifying key elements to consider when planning to start a new business.
Edward England - Vice President - Client Services General Manager of companies manufacturing home furnishings, snack foods, cookies, flexible packaging. Owner/operator of a general management consulting company. Knowledgeable in all aspects of management with particular strengths in plant operations, cost control, finances, and human resource management. Counseled clients in many different businesses including retail, consulting, manufacturing, and service industries.
Stephen Engle Engineer with experience in the sales and service of large scale military systems. Experienced in price negotiations. John Furry Expertise in automotive repair franchise development and commercial real estate. Experienced in sales, marketing, distribution, product management/planning, strategic planning, and general management for farm equipment and light industrial equipment. P & L experience.
Gerard Glenn - Chapter 16 President and District Director for Eastern Pennsylvania. General management executive with extensive sales, sales management and marketing background. Clients served include manufacturers, contractors, retailers, non-profits and many small business start ups. Currently CEO of a business consulting company. Formerly general management executive of a major manufacturer of interior finishes in USA and Europe.
William Graham - Vice President - Operations Experience in consumer product sales, marketing and general management. James Martin Career in family owned business selling motor trucks, parts and services such as leasing. Starting in sales, he moved into management and became president. Later he became a small business consultant and then loan officer for a local bank mortgage company. He is also a licensed real estate agent.
Larry Marshall - Treasurer Expert in the area of pensions and insurance. Financial expertise includes internal auditing, financial forecasting, consolidation and pricing. Responsible for internal compliance with national SCORE procedures and processes, and handles orientation of all new SCORE Lancaster members.

Background in marketing and public relations, including professional writing experience specific to both internal and external communications. Skilled in developing and delivering product training presentations.

Janice Schlimm Emeritus SCORE Member Formerly Professor, Towson University. Adjunct faculty John Hopkins University and University of Maryland teaching Management, Marketing and Marketing Research. Presented seminars in management and written communications. Served on Lancaster County Historical Society and Lancaster General Hospital boards.
