James Abert - Consultant to companies doing program evaluation, cost and systems analysis.  Professor, Georgetown University School of Business.  Expertise in strategic analysis, market plans, financial forecasting, tax issues, grant writing. Clients counseled include consultants, graphic artists, landscapers, retailers, entertainment/banquet venues and website developers.
 
Aftab Akbar - Owner/operator of a small business and a successful entrepreneur who has ‘been there and done that.’  He has more than 20 years of experience in domestic and international business – marketing, sales, import-export, and client relationship management.

Carol Aubitz - Experienced in all media, direct mail, web site development, Internet marketing, creative development and strategic planning.  Clients served include retail, service industries, manufacturing, hospitality, destinations, publishing, direct mail, catalogs, education and non-profits.  Member of the Score National Advertising/Marketing Committee.

Roy Baldwin - Experience includes product design, development, marketing, and leadership on non-profit boards. Former COO of an environmental engineering firm, and project manager for two other engineering firms. Experienced in providing technical training, leadership assessments, personality profiles, team, interpersonal, and conflict resolution training. Also experienced in government affairs in Harrisburg and Washington.

John Bergey - Balanced business experience in new product development, research, technology assessment, patents, licensing, strategic planning and business development.  Former President and CEO of an advanced electronic watch company.  
 
Bob Bewley - An experienced human resources professional – internationally and domestically.  His expertise includes staffing, union and non-union relations, organization development, compensation and benefits, training and community relations.

Steven Borkgren - Experienced in manufacturing and supply chain operations including strategic planning, budgeting, and financial analysis.  Expertise in procurement functions including strategy development, vendor selection and management, risk analysis and supply contracts.  Counseling experience in developing and analyzing start up business plans.

Thomas Burgum - Vice President - Member Services - Extensive sales and marketing management experience with retailers, contractors and distributors in the building materials, furniture and carpet industries. Global expertise creating and implementing sales effectiveness processes, including selling and buying, competency models, recruiting, training, coaching and metrics. Skilled at leadership training and development.
 
Denise Conklin - Extensive background in the leadership and financial management of not-for-profit organizations. Experienced in the development of staffing plans and volunteer recruitment programs.  Designer of innovative fundraising strategies to diversify income streams. Experienced grant writer.

Stephanie Crisara -  Experienced in sales, customer service, human resources, process improvement and general management.  She has worked for large companies, small companies, and owns her own consulting business.

Louis Davenport - Assistant District Director - Extensive business and financial planning experience with both start- up and established businesses, with expertise in credit management, marketing, financial analysis, business financing, financial risk management and TQM (total quality management). Special focus on financial turnaround challenges. Clients include contractors, wholesalers, manufacturers, retailers and service firms in various industries. Formerly a senior financial executive. Former Chairman of Chapter 16.

David Diffenderffer - Extensive experience in banking, including particular emphasis on commercial lending, financial analysis, strategic planning, and business plans. Expertise in industries related to contractors, construction, not for profits, service, commercial real estate, and transportation.

Tim Douglas - Co-President - Former Director of Product Development for an agricultural manufacturing company. Expertise in global product development and strategic product business planning. Background in sales (retail and wholesale), marketing, logistics, and personnel training.

Edward England - Vice President - Client Services - General Manager of companies manufacturing home furnishings, snack foods, cookies, flexible packaging. Owner/operator of a general management consulting company.  Knowledgeable in all aspects of management with particular strengths in plant operations, cost control, finances, and human resource management. Counseled clients in many different businesses including retail, consulting, manufacturing, and service industries.

Fred Engle - An experienced financial advisor and counselor, having worked for Community First Fund, the largest SBA lender in Lancaster County. Fred is an excellent teacher, both one-to-one and in the SCORE classroom.  Fred also is experienced in business planning.
 
Stephen Engle - Engineer with experience in the sales and service of large scale military systems. Experienced in price negotiations. Businesses served include manufacturing, product installations, agriculture, general services, and new product introduction. Currently own a leadership and training business serving managers with P&L responsibility in large companies.
 
Daniel Evans - General Operations Manager with experience in the fields of environment, health and safety;  plant management, business start-ups and human resource management. Skilled at process improvement, budget and standards development as well as managing semi-autonomous work teams.
 
Pete Faber - Broad experience in marketing/product development with major consumer companies as well as local/regional small/medium-sized businesses. Expertise in market research, new product marketing plans and brand management.
 
John Fleckenstein - Experienced in manufacturing large building products as well as electrical and high technology products. Expertise in sales and marketing for high technology business. Clients served include manufacturers, construction, retail and services.
 
James Foster - Vice President – Operations - Management and technical expertise serving electric power and industrial companies in the US and overseas. Formerly a licensed professional engineer and senior executive with an engineering consulting firm.
 
Colin Freund - Vice President - Finance - CPA with broad experience in small electronic component manufacturing companies. Expertise in audit, financial analysis and business valuation.  Experienced with financial projections for business plans for both profit and not-for-profit organizations.

Jim Gillespie - An expert in international business.  He lived and worked in London for many years, working for large consulting firms and owning and operating his own business. He is a marketing expert with both MBA and law degrees.

Pat Griffin - Vice President - Business Development - An experienced small business entrepreneur and international speaker about management, leadership training and organizational skills. She has owned and operated a small business for many years, and gained experience in state and federal regulations, marketing and business planning.
 
Gerard Glenn - General management executive with extensive sales, sales management and marketing background.  Clients served include manufacturers, contractors, retailers, non-profits and many small business start ups. Currently CEO of a business consulting company. Formerly general management executive of a major manufacturer of interior finishes in USA and Europe.  Former Chairman  and President of Chapter 16.

Martha Good - Skills and experience include business management, entrepreneurship, marketing and business strategy.  She works fulltime as the manager of a two-unit auto center, focusing on customer retention, competitive differentiation, and integrating new products and services. Also teaches undergraduate business classes at Penn State University.

Lawrence J. Keating - A former lawyer with experience in major business litigation, as well as most small business and a number of non-profit legal mattters.

Cathryn Ketterman - Skills developed through B2B sales, small food business ownership as well as project development for non-profits. Proficient at developing strategies, visions and mission statements for new and developing businesses. Enjoy using my entrepreneurial talent to create innovative answers to social needs.

Wendy Komancheck - Experience and expertise in business communications.  She is an independent professional writer for several newspapers and magazines.  She has worked extensively as a public relations resource for organizations throughout Lancaster County.
